Bio
A specialist in financing complex affordable housing transactions, Nicole executes projects involving Year 15 re-syndication, conventional debt, taxable and tax-exempt bonds, LIHTCs, HOPE VI, HOME, CDBG, and a variety of other public and private funding sources. Prior to joining Genesis, Nicole was a developer with Pennrose Properties, a manager for the Philadelphia Housing Authority, and a consultant for Community Development Services, which worked with lenders, municipalities, and non-profit organizations throughout the country. She has structured deals totaling well over $300 million. She has secured $48 million in HOPE VI awards and an additional $160 million in leveraged funds for associated developments. Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rice University and a Master of Science of Real Estate Development from Columbia University. She serves on the steering committee for the New Jersey chapter of Women in Housing and Finance.
