Nick Pappas serves as a Senior Managing Director and leads coverage for the western region for Newmark's Lodging Capital Markets group. Based in Los Angeles, Mr. Pappas joined Newmark in 2021, after two years with Canyon Partners Real Estate's acquisitions team in Los Angeles pursuing debt and equity transactions across all asset types. Prior to Canyon Partners Real Estate, Nick completed his M.B.A. at the UCLA Anderson School of Management following six years with Eastdil Secured as a member of their Lodging Capital Markets team. As a member of Eastdil's lodging team, he has been involved in more than $15 billion of hospitality transactions. Mr. Pappas earned an Master of Business Adminstration degree from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College. He currently resides in Venice Beach.
