Biography

Nicholas S. Kucha joined Newmark in 2017 as vice chairman, Pacific Northwest Capital Markets in the firm's office in Portland, Oregon. Nicholas helps lead the firm's West Coast Capital Markets team along with Steven Golubchik (vice chairman, co-head of Commercial Capital Markets Northern California) and Kevin Shannon president, West Coast Capital Markets). Nicholas focuses on the Seattle, Washington, and Portland markets and has closed more than $7 billion dollars in the past five years.

Nicholas possesses more than a decade of commercial real estate experience with a focus on office and industrial assets. His experience compliments Mr. Golubchik's focus on the Bay Area and works in a strategic partnership with Mr. Shannon to best serve their Seattle and Portland clients. Mr. Kucha's established presence in Seattle and Portland ties into Newmark's collaborative, team-oriented service platform that spans the West Coast and provides clients unprecedented to access and purchase more product.

Prior to joining Newmark, Nicholas worked for nearly six years at HFF as a senior managing director and co-head of the Portland office. In this role, he was primarily responsible for HFF's institutional investment sales in the western United States with a focus on office, industrial and retail assets. Prior to HFF, Nicholas was a senior partner in the investment brokerage division of Nomad Commercial, LLC and a senior associate at Capacity Commercial Group, LLC.
