Mr. Sittema is a Senior Vice President of Debt and Structured Finance and leads the Multifamily Finance platform for CBRE in the Carolinas. Nate joined CBRE in September of 2010 and has structured over $6 Billion of financings for his REIT, Pension Fund, and developer clients via the spectrum of capital sources.

Prior to CBRE, Nate worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Commercial Real Estate Bank. During his time at the Bank, Nate primarily focused on construction loan origination and portfolio management gaining extensive experience with successful restructures as well as originations with some of the most well known developers in the Carolinas. Nate gained a unique perspective by serving on the institutional side of the real estate industry fostering a comprehensive understanding of debt and equity as well as property operations for all the major asset classes.

Nate began his career as a retail leasing associate with Crosland, LLC having exposure to lease structure, tenant representation, as well as financial modeling and project due diligence. Throughout his career, Nate's experience and relationships have stretched across the country with a specific focus on his home in the Carolinas.
