Mike Shanks

Michael Shanks oversees all aspects of KM Realty’s property management functions as well as leading all Property Managers for KM Realty’s portfolio. He also takes a large part in oversight and review of KM Realty’s construction activity. Mike is also responsible for assisting in new development projects for retail shopping centers. He makes it his focus to build a strong management team and for the tenants to have the best experience possible when leasing with KM Realty. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Mike joined KM Realty in 2015 following his time spent at Amerisource Funding, a financial lending company. Since joining KM Realty, he has managed their Houston portfolio and later all regional portfolios as well. He has also been an integral part of overseeing retail development locally and regionally. PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS/EXPERIENCE Mike has graduated from the highly accredited Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) by obtaining the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation. Mike also has experience as a project manager for several building projects prior to joining KM in 2015.
