Mike McCarthy

Michael E. McCarthy, Managing Director, Investments – East Region, has 14 years of real estate experience, eight of which are with Cabot. Mr. McCarthy is responsible for the oversight of investment activities in the East Region of the United States across all Cabot strategies. Additionally, Mr. McCarthy is responsible for sourcing and closing industrial property investments in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and South Florida. Prior to rejoining Cabot in 2020, Mr. McCarthy spent eighteen months with Wheelock Street Capital as a Principal overseeing the firm’s industrial platform. Mr. McCarthy also spent two years with Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage earlier in his career, where he was responsible for the screening and underwriting of over $1 billion in commercial mortgages for multi-family properties throughout the U.S. Mr. McCarthy began his career with Brookwood Financial Partners, a Massachusetts-based real estate private equity firm. Mr. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College.
