Bio

Michael Kazmierczak brings nearly 30 years of commercial real estate experience to his role as a Senior Vice President in the firm's Agency Leasing group, joining CBRE in 2014 through the acquisition of U.S. Equities Realty. Michael has extensive office leasing expertise in all CBD submarkets with the full spectrum of product types.

Most recently Michael completed over 240,000 RSF of new leasing at 350 North Orleans including GGP and Gartner, bringing the property to 93% leased, and also led the team that completed a single lease transaction for 100% of the building at 620 N. LaSalle. Michael was also part of the leasing team that secured anchors William Blair, Hyatt and Polsinelli for O'Donnell Investments recently completed tower at 150 North Riverside.  From 2007 to 2015, Michael directed the leasing team at the iconic Willis Tower where his team achieved more than four million square feet of leasing transactions during his tenure, including the successful execution of United Airlines' 830,000 rsf lease, one the largest office leases in the history of Chicago.  In the North Michigan Avenue submarket, since 1993 Kazmierczak has consistently achieved the highest net rates while maintaining above market occupancy in a portfolio of Class A mixed-use office properties along Chicago's Magnificent Mile.

Kazmierczak joined U.S. Equities Realty in 1990 as a Property Manager for a 63,000 RSF northwest suburban office building.  Over the span of his commercial real estate career, Michael has managed and/or leased more than 50 diverse properties, spanning each of the five major suburban Chicago submarkets as well as the CBD. He has marked success working with institutional, entrepreneurial and international owners at single story, mid-rise and high-rise office, retail, industrial, flex and mixed-use properties of all classes.
