Bio

Mike grew up in the Seattle area, matriculated to Southern California for college and work, and moved to Chicago for graduate school before landing at Trammell Crow in 1990. After a dozen years of marketing, brokerage, operational, and regional jobs, Mike joined Kirk to form Capstone’s Seattle branch in 2002. Since then, Capstone’s Seattle area projects have included over $2B of ground-up development and value-add projects. Some highlights include the $1.3B Esterra Park project in Redmond (One Esterra Park’s 245,000 sf office building and the 634-unit Verde at Esterra Park), Facebook’s 350,000 sf Seattle headquarters in South Lake Union, the 285-unit Union in South Lake Union, the Esterline and Rockwell Collins manufacturing facilities in Everett (combined 500,000 sf), and 1 million sf of speculative warehouse buildings in the Kent Valley. Mike is active in the community and keeping pace with his college triplets. Mike received his BA in Economics from Pomona College and his MBA in Finance and Marketing from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University
