Michel Ciambra

Mr. Ciambra has over thirty years of experience in trade finance, emerging market direct lending, private debt, special situations and fixed income. Prior to joining Innovatus Capital Partners, LLC in June of 2017, Mr. Ciambra was a Managing Director at Cordiant Capital, where he focused on emerging markets direct lending and led the macro investment committee and all direct non IFI originations. From 2014 to 2015, Mr. Ciambra was Head of Emerging Market Direct Lending at Mariana Partners Asset Management, an alternative asset management firm headquartered in London. From 2012 to 2013, he was a Senior Executive Director of Private Debt and Special Situations at VTB bank. From 2010 to 2011, Mr. Ciambra was Head of Emerging Market credit trading at Credit Suisse. At Credit Suisse, he co-managed a $7 billion proprietary emerging market credit portfolio mainly investing in illiquid credit structures, distressed debt and special situations. His other work experience includes positions at Stormharbour Partners (2009-2010). CRT Capital Group (2006-2009), and Mintaka Technology Group (1999-2002). Mr. Ciambra started his capital markets career on the trading desks of large financial institutions in London, England (BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse and HSBC) from 1987 to 1996. During this period he served as Head of Emerging Market Credit Market Making at Credit Suisse from 1994 to 1996. Mr. Ciambra received a B.A., Finance and Business from the University of Westminster
