Michael Witek

Michael Witek plays an integral role at the Naftali Group, as the Executive Vice President of Construction for the diverse portfolio of properties. Mr. Witek is intimately involved in the oversight of all the project management teams and construction phases from pre-construction, forecasting and execution to close out and occupancy. Since joining Naftali Group, he has directly led the design, construction, renovation and development of 15 properties encompassing over 1.5 million square feet in Manhattan and Brooklyn. With over 25 years in the industry, Mr. Witek has amassed a unique understanding of development, zoning, logistics and cost analysis in the competitive New York construction environment. Mr. Witek' s relationship and reputation within the industry coupled with his skills in management have led the firm to successful commissioning of some of the most complex projects in New York City. Prior to joining Naftali, Mr. Witek was with Elad Properties, where he worked on notable projects including 250 West Street, The Plaza Hotel and Food Hall, and The O'Neill Building. Mr. Witek holds a B.A. from Syracuse University; where he played lacrosse on the 1993 and 1995 NCAA Championship teams.
