Michael Watson

Mike is responsible for the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group that will provide senior management with robust budgets, forecasts, reporting and analysis of our development and operating portfolio. The FP&A group will help create value by closely monitoring revenues, expenses and development costs as well as providing thorough and timely analysis to drive both tactical and strategic decisions. In addition, Mike will provide financial analysis of functional operating areas of the Company.

Mike has been an asset manager responsible for master-planned communities representing more than 4,000 residential dwelling units and a developer responsible for the acquisition, design, entitlement, construction, and lease-up of over 4,400 units and 500,000 square feet of commercial development in 11 states. Mike has underwritten hundreds of multifamily and mixed-use projects worth over $10 billion across the US including Google, Archstone, UDR, and many others.

Mike holds a master’s degree in real estate development (MRED) from the University of Southern California (USC) and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Cal State Fullerton. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a licensed Real Estate Broker.
