Bio
Mike Vesper has 35 years of commercial real estate experience. Mr. Vesper is a member of the Investment Properties Institutional Group, concentrating in the sale of major CBD office equities and corporate portfolios in Chicago and other Midwest CBDs. Since joining CBRE in 1992, Mike has been involved as a key team member in over $2 billion of real estate transactions nationwide. Mr. Vesper’s background as Treasurer and CFO for two major real estate firms brings an institutional and ownership perspective to real estate transactions, as well as extensive capital market experience in the placement and structuring of both debt and equity. As an investment professional, Mr. Vesper and his team provide the full scope of advisory and brokerage services required for complex real estate transactions.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Vesper served as the Midwest CFO for Trammell Crow Company and as Treasurer of Homart Development Company. Mike negotiated or participated in over 30 transactions, securing over $3 billion in debt or equity proceeds during his 14 year tenure at Homart.
