Michael Uccellini

As the leader of The United Group—and its affiliates United Development and United Realty Management Corp., AMO®–Michael Uccellini directs more than 175 professionals and a real estate portfolio of $300 million (more than 5 million square feet). Under his leadership, the company has successfully served such high-profile commercial tenants as Lockheed Martin, Global Foundries, Hudson Valley Community College, and the New York State Assembly. On the residential side, the portfolio includes 23 properties with more than 4,500 units in such sectors as independent senior living, student apartments, multi-family developments, and government-assisted apartment communities.

Michael is well regarded as an industry leader, both locally and nationwide. He has earned the designations of Certified Property Manager and Certified Occupancy Specialist from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), and he serves with distinction as chair of IREM’s prestigious National Federal Housing Advisory Board. He is also past President of IREM’s Capital District Chapter (New York State). He has also placed The United Group on the vanguard of several innovations in the field, including the renowned SUN® Program for independent senior communities.

Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lally School of Business Management, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Managerial Economics from Union College. He is an active presence in a variety of community and national service organizations.
