Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson is an Executive Vice President and Co-Head of CBRE's Debt and Structured Finance Team in Houston, TX. His primary focus is sourcing capital for acquisitions, developments and refinances and keeping existing owner clients informed on the state of the capital markets. Mr. Thompson joined CBRE Capital Markets in 2012 and specializes in the advisement of multi-family, retail, office, industrial and self-storage properties.  Michael has been a recognized top producer in this market since 2014.

Mr. Thompson has been in commercial real estate lending since 2003 where he began his mortgage banking career with a Texas based firm.  Mr. Thompson holds an MBA in Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
