Bio
Michael R. Lloyd, MAI joined CBRE's Valuation and Advisory Services in 2011. He works out of the CBRE | Raleigh office in North Carolina with his primary geographical concentration being North and South Carolina; specifically, the Raleigh-Durham metro area, Greensboro-Winston Salem metro area and Eastern North Carolina. Michael has over fifteen years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience which encompasses all major commercial property classes including industrial, office, retail, multi-family residential and other special purpose properties.
He provides appraisal reports, consultations, third-party appraisal reviews, rent analyses and market/feasibility studies regarding acquisitions, litigation, mortgage lending and portfolio purposes; properties range from smaller properties valued under $1 million in rural markets to institutional quality assets valued in excess of $100 million in primary markets.
He is affiliated with and a contributing member of CBRE's Valuation and Advisory Services' industrial, office and medical-office practice groups.
Over his career, Michael has worked throughout the Carolinas, the Chicagoland area of Illinois, northwest Indiana, and southeastern Wisconsin.
Prior to CBRE, Michael worked for a boutique appraisal firm in Illinois where he was well-regarded by his peers for his knowledge and practice of the appraisal profession. There his work primarily consisted of appraisal assignments regarding mid-market real estate for medium to smaller-sized financial institutions.
