Bio
Michael F. Keyes is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and closing acquisition and development opportunities for Intercontinental sponsored funds. He oversees investment underwriting and structuring, joint venture negotiations and all aspects of due diligence for potential acquisitions. Mr. Keyes has professional experience in several commercial real estate disciplines including development, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and asset management. He is directly responsible for opportunity identification in New England, New York, and New Jersey, North and South Carolina and Atlanta, GA for Intercontinental’s U.S. Real Estate Investment Fund, LLC and Intercontinental’s Build Real Estate Investment Fund, LLC. Mr. Keyes is a member of Intercontinental’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Intercontinental in 2004, Mr. Keyes was a member of New Boston Fund’s Acquisition Group. Mr. Keyes has also worked as a leasing broker with CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners. Mr. Keyes is a resident of Belmont, MA and enjoys spending time coaching his kid’s sports teams, most importantly, the Mini Marauder “Learn to Skate” and Belmont’s Girls U10 Hockey Programs. Mr. Keyes also involved in various capacities on behalf of Brown University where is an alumni interviewer, Brown Sport Foundation volunteer and student athlete mentor and board member for the Brown Football Association. Mr. Keyes holds a BA in Economics and American History from Brown University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
