Bio
Mr. Kaye joined the organization as General Counsel and Director of Development of Levine Builders and, upon creation of Douglaston Development, served as its first President.
As CEO, Mr. Kaye oversees a wide variety of development projects both in the New York metropolitan area and in Arizona, where Douglaston Development is an active senior housing and commercial property developer. Mr. Kaye also oversees the company’s investments and developments internationally and is the company’s chief strategist in development projects. Mr. Kaye is a co-leader of the Executive Management team and is a key advisor in the company’s investment strategy and growth.
Before joining Douglaston Development, Mr. Kaye worked as an attorney in private practice specializing in transactional real estate. Early in his career, Mr. Kaye was an Assistant Attorney General on the executive staff of New York State Attorney General Robert Abrams.
Mr. Kaye holds his B.A. from the University of Rochester and his J.D. from SUNY Buffalo.
