Michael Fasano is Director of Debt & Structured Finance at RIPCO Real Estate, where he focuses on debt, equity and structured finance transactions. RIPCO’s Debt & Structured Finance business primarily targets clients and assets located in the New York and Florida markets where RIPCO is most active, however Michael has a previous track record of successfully executing financings across the US, which ultimately enables RIPCO to accept financing assignments anywhere nationally.

Michael joined RIPCO Real Estate in late-2022, bringing his 10+ years of commercial real estate industry experience and $1 billion of gross transaction exposure to spearhead the Debt & Structured Finance group’s asset financing mandates.

Prior to joining RIPCO, Michael worked with Marcus & Millichap’s Miller-Gomes Hotel Team, where he leveraged his intimate understanding of the debt markets and his proficiency in credit underwriting, property valuation and transaction management to advise hotel owners throughout the Southwestern United States on recapitalization and disposition strategies for distressed hotel assets. Prior to Marcus & Millichap, Michael was an Assistant Vice President with People’s United Bank’s CRE Finance Group in Manhattan, NY, where he specialized in analyzing, structuring and monitoring value-add and construction loans for commercial real estate owners based in the tri-state area, working with a network of clients that include private investors, institutional clients, publicly traded REITs and developers.

Michael Fasano earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Arizona State University where he played for the Arizona State University Men’s Rugby Team.
