Bio
Michael Eurich joined Avison Young in 2015 and serves as Principal and legal counsel specializing in client facing advisory matters, including brokerage, capital markets, property management, asset management, facility management and project management services. Further, Michael advises Avison Young's internal functions of the company on operational matters and risk management.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Mr. Eurich practiced law at a Top 50 Chicago law firm, where he represented clients in both transactional and litigation matters. Michael advised mid-market lenders, healthcare organizations, and businesses on a broad range of transactional matters including real estate transactions, financing transactions, real estate transactions, corporate compliance, and strategic business formation.
Prior to pursuing a legal career, Michael was a founding member of the transactional arm of an IP advisory firm and conducted over $100 million in IP transactions within 18 months of formation. Michael further spearheaded initiatives to bolster research institution and university based technology licensing programs, and the creation and rebalancing of IP-value based stock indexes which traded on the American Stock Exchange.
Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and undergraduate degree in business from the Miami (Ohio) University, Richard T. Farmer School of Business.
