With over 18 years of commercial real estate experience, Michael Coyne, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, is responsible for the origination and execution of property sales and equity capital raises for multifamily assets, with a focus in the New England Region. Throughout his career, he has been involved in over $4 billion worth of property sales and capitalizations.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Coyne served as managing director at JLL for six years. There, he expanded the company’s multifamily Capital Markets presence into the New England region. Before joining JLL, Mr. Coyne gained a broad range of capital markets experience in various positions with Deutsche Bank, TriSail Capital Corporation, CBRE, and Recap Real Estate Advisors.

Mr. Coyne holds a Bachelor of Arts in finance, operations, and strategic management from Boston College.

Beyond the company, Mr. Coyne is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Massachusetts and is a member of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA).
