Michael Copella

Michael Copella is the Market Leader and Managing Director for CBRE's Columbus, Ohio, operations. In this role, he is responsible for more than 275 real estate sales and support professionals throughout Central Ohio and the complete spectrum of commercial real estate services the Columbus office provides, including Asset Services, Brokerage Services, Capital Markets, Occupier Outsourcing, Project Management and Valuation and Advisory Services. Mr. Copella also manages client relations, new business development and related services for the market. 

Mr. Copella joined CBRE in 2011 as a Vice President in the company's Office Services group in Columbus. As a brokerage professional he focused on tenant representation, and established a particularly strong position as one of the top real estate professionals serving healthcare clients in Columbus. 

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Copella was a Vice President at Alterra Real Estate Advisors and he has served clients such as Anthem Blue Cross, United States Postal Service, Mount Carmel Health System and Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians.

Mr. Copella is a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia and is active in the Columbus community, volunteering often with Meals on Wheels, serving on the boards of Habitat for Humanity MidOhio, the Columbus Chapter of Young Presidents Organization, the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and is a past Director for the Board of Realtors (2016) and past Chair of it's Commercial Advisory Committee.
