Michael Caffey

Michael Caffey is the President of the South-Central Division and Latin America for CBRE.  He is a member of CBRE's Americas Strategy Group and Global Leadership Group.

Michael is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the firm's 12 regional offices throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana as well as 15 owned and affiliate offices in Latin America. He oversees a staff of more than 3,500 professionals who provide solutions and create value for clients with local, national and global real estate requirements. Service lines include property management, occupier and investor leasing, investment sales, project management and appraisal.

Michael's focus is supporting the growth of CBRE's business lines throughout the region and championing the delivery of exceptional outcomes for its clients.

Prior to assuming his regional role in October 2013, Michael was the Senior Managing Director of CBRE's Dallas office, responsible for setting and deploying the local business strategy for Global Corporate Services, tenant representation and retail services. Before CBRE, Michael served as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Services with Trammell Crow Company. He also served as a Vice President of Tenant Representation at JLL.

With almost 25 years of industry experience, Michael's background includes all facets of corporate services, including the development and implementation of transaction, facilities and project management solutions. Additionally, his experiences include account management, portfolio strategy and market master planning. His transactional experience represents over four million square feet conducted throughout the United States, Canada, Central America and South America.
