Bio
Michael (Mike) J. Bernholz Jr. serves as our Associate Vice President – Asset Management & Finance, specializing in asset management, financial modeling, portfolio reporting, and metrics analysis. Prior to joining New Market, Michael completed PGIM Real Estate Finance’s five-year analyst program in Atlanta, GA. During his time at PGIM REF, he was primarily responsible for the investment analysis on new loan originations for all property types in the Southeast. Other portfolio management tasks included performing annual valuations on existing deals and maintenance of the existing loan portfolio. Michael received his B.S. in Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. He also maintains a Real Estate Appraiser’s license in the state of New York.
