Bio
Meredith Oliver is a senior vice president with CBRE's Retail Services Group in Chicago. Meredith has become one of the Chicago area's most sought-after retail experts, representing both high-profile tenants and owners in the downtown and suburban markets.
Meredith has cultivated long-term relationships with national retailers and major developers and is a trusted partner for clients with their comprehensive real estate strategies.
In Chicago, he and his team have recently worked with tenants such as Capital One to implement one of the city's most impactful retail rollouts in recent years, creating and executing on a comprehensive market strategy for the retailer's 360 Café concept, which represents the next evolution of brand-focused retail. To date, the team has added five of these concepts to premier retail submarkets.
He transitions seamlessly from working with high-street owners, such as Oxford Capital and Angelo Gordon at 360 N. Michigan Avenue and Hines and Angelo Gordon at 131 S. Dearborn, to working on large suburban projects. Most recently, he has provided guidance on the repositioning of the 140,000-square-foot Oak Lawn Commons for Hubbard Street Group in Oak Lawn and the launching of the 250,000-square-foot Shoppes of Buffalo Grove for Shorewood Development.
An 18-year commercial real estate veteran, Meredith began his career at Metro Commercial Real Estate, where he was a partner. In 2011, he started Cushman & Wakefield's retail services practice in Chicago.
Meredith is a Chicago Market Board Member for the March of Dimes.
