Bio
Melissa Reid serves as the Senior Managing Director of Global Sales and Client Solutions for CBRE's Data Center Solutions business. She is responsible for the creation and execution of the business' global sales strategy, the development and promotion of new products and services, and the development and training of the global sales team.
Melissa leads a high-performing global sales team, focused on achieving solution-based results, who are responsible for cultivation, renewals, expansions, and new business engagements.
As one of the fastest growing business lines in CBRE, Melissa has been part of Data Center Solutions since inception in January 2016 and has witnessed nearly 70% YoY growth every year. Upon joining the business, Melissa developed and executed a sales and marketing strategy focused on establishing the legacy EMEA business in the Americas. Since then, the Americas business has now exceeded EMEA in terms of revenue, profit, and headcount.
Prior to joining Data Center Solutions, Melissa led business development and marketing for CBRE's Public Institutions and Education Solutions group. Melissa worked with group leaders to identify strategies and business solutions for the public sector, including federal, state, and local clients seeking to outsource real estate operations, and was responsible for ensuring compliance for these complex engagements.
Prior to her career at CBRE, Melissa served led federal business development for Deloitte. In this capacity, Melissa managed business development, pursuit capture, and proposal production activities for an elite center of excellence sales team that maintained a 100% win rate.
