Matthew Teitelbaum

Matt Teitelbaum is a Partner and Director of Business Development for Cresset Partners. Matt focuses on managing capital raising activities for the firm’s private equity, credit, and real estate investments, including fundraising, investor relations, and the overall distribution strategy. He has been with Cresset since the firm’s beginnings in 2017 and has worked in a variety of corporate development roles prior to his current focus.

Matt joined Cresset after spending a decade on and around trading desks. Most recently, Matt worked on the institutional credit sales desk at Natixis Securities Americas LLC, a broker-dealer in New York City. At Natixis, he was responsible for marketing and selling various credit products to institutional clients including new issue syndication. Previously, Matt provided trade support for the equity, fixed income and forex desks at Harris Associates LP, a Chicago-based investment adviser, and before that, at Morgan Stanley on their institutional equity desk.

Matt graduated from the University of Maryland with a major in Economics. Matt currently resides in Miami Beach, FL with his wife, Dorie, and their daughter, Eloise.
