Matthew Stuart

Matthew P. Stuart is Senior Vice President and Director of Western Region Acquisitions at GID. In this role he is responsible for sourcing multifamily opportunities in the West Coast and Mountain States. Matt joined GID in October 2000 as an Acquisitions Analyst covering the Northeast Region, and subsequently relocated to California as a founding member of GID’s west coast office in 2002. Since relocating to California with GID he has sourced and closed over $1.5 billion of multifamily transactions.

Prior to his time at GID, Matt spent three years as an Underwriting Analyst at Berkshire Mortgage Finance where he was involved in the underwriting and closing of over $400 million in multifamily GSE loans.
