Matthew Olsen

Matt Olsen is a Director in Mesirow CTL and Structured Debt Products. He focuses primarily on the firm’s structured debt products offering, which includes bifurcated ground leases, mezzanine and residual value financing. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2015, he held various engineering roles at the Turner Construction Company. Before that, he worked as a Development Analyst for Michael Pepper Development Services. Matt is a Auxiliary Board Member for the Chicago Architecture Foundation, a Tutor with Chicago Light’s Youth Tutoring Program, a member of the MSOE Industry Advisory Committee and an active member of ULI Chicago. Matt earned two Bachelor of Science’s from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He holds the Engineer in Training (EIT) certification and is a LEED BD+C Accredited Professional. Matt holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
