Professional Expertise Started in commercial real estate acquisitions in 2014 with a diverse background in retail and multifamily. At Cushman & Wakefield his team focuses on multi-tenant retail, value-add, ground up development mixed-use and redevelopment opportunities. Previous experience in investment banking in the CMBS division at Deutsche Bank AG. Actively managing complex Credit Debt Obligation (CDO) portfolios for hedge and risk purposes. Once transitioning from investment banking to commercial real estate he was focused on acquisitions for a private equity team and later underwriting retail power centers. In his term there were over $100 million in assets acquired and $70 million in debt placement CMBS and construction debt. Mr. Godman helped analyze, manage due diligence, report return potentials to investor groups and oversee differed maintenance whilst building value to the projects.
