Bio

Matthew A. Dicker is a Co-Founder, Partner and the Chief Financial Officer of Wildflower Ltd.

Dicker is an entrepreneur with two decades of experience in real estate development and finance. He understands that business is based on long-lasting relationships, creativity, transparency and execution; all hallmarks of his career in delivering superior risk adjusted returns across multiple asset classes and cycles.

Dicker joined Adam Gordon in 2014 as a partner and CFO at Madison Development, Wildflower’s predecessor. Madison was accelerating its investments in New York City self-storage properties as the city’s economy rebounded from the recession. Dicker led the capital raising of Madison’s self-storage projects and helped the firm become a leading player in the market.

In 2017, Dicker and Gordon formed Wildflower to develop state-of-the-art e-commerce distribution centers at strategic locations in New York City. Today, Dicker leads Wildflower’s relationships with investment and financing partners, manages the firm’s operations, and works with Gordon on Wildflower’s strategic direction.

Previously, Dicker was a director at Canyon Capital Realty Advisors in Los Angeles. During his ten years at Canyon, Dicker underwrote and originated debt and equity on all types of real estate across the US and worked with the Canyon-Johnson Funds, one of the early pioneers in social impact investing. In 2010, he moved to New York to help open Canyon’s New York office.

A lifelong athlete, Dicker was a Division I swimmer at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a BA in International Relations. He still finds time to swim and surf, and he lives in Soho with his wife and two daughters.
