Matthew B Bernstein

Matt Bernstein is the Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at NexGen Properties. Matt has a diverse background in commercial real estate with brokerage, development, finance, asset management, and operations experience. He previously served as a managing partner at Hier & Company, Inc., a local real estate firm specializing in land development, brokerage and property management, where he oversaw the development lifecycle for more than $30 million in commercial assets. Prior to joining Hier & Company, Inc., Mr. Bernstein worked at Prologis, Inc. for 10 years gaining commercial real estate experience in strategic operations, investment management and analysis. He managed the $625 million Prologis Mexico Industrial Fund, where he was responsible for the asset management of the Fund’s industrial real estate portfolio. He also oversaw reporting and investor relations with the Fund’s nine distinct institutional investors. Mr. Bernstein received his M.S. in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and his B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a licensed real estate broker and community association manager in the State of Colorado, Realtor, and an active member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties.
