Matt Moake joined HighStreet Net Lease Group in June of 2011, and is a Principal of the company in the role of Director of Acquisitions / Dispositions. His expertise and core focus is on the acquisition and disposition of net leased properties across the United States. Matt’s intense drive to fully understand each individual client’s needs, coupled with his in depth product and market knowledge has helped him to uncover unique investment opportunities of net leased assets nationwide. In addition Matt has developed longstanding relationships with principals, developers, and brokers throughout the country to facilitate sales transactions at the highest possible price for his listing clients. His knowledge and experience with the 1031 exchange process has been instrumental in allowing his clients to achieve their investment goals and build wealth. Matt’s previous 5+ years in the commercial real estate industry were spent with a publicly traded owner/management company that operates office, retail, industrial, self-storage, and multi-family properties throughout the southern United States. Matt managed the entire Houston portfolio (32 properties totaling 2.4 million SF) and was responsible for successfully negotiating over 900 lease transactions. Matt holds a Texas Real Estate Commission broker license and received his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2011. This designation is a symbol of expertise in the commercial and investment real estate industry and is held by less than 5% of commercial brokers nationwide. He graduated from Rice University in 2005 where he was a four year member of the baseball team. The team was highly ranked throughout his career and won the national championship in 2003. Matt is a past president of the Houston Gulf Coast CCIM Chapter, member of the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), National Association of Realtors (NAR), and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is a lifetime Houstonian and is an avid supporter of the Rockets, Texans, Astros, and all Rice Owls athletics. Matt and his wife, Meghan, have three children and enjoy golfing and spending time with family.
