Matt Jew is currently an Associate at Newmark, joined in March 2023, where he works alongside Steve Kapp and the Oakland industrial team. Mr. Jew was a student athlete, as a four-year starter on the baseball team at Santa Clara University while completing his bachelor’s degree in finance. With genuine interest in commercial real estate paired with a strong foundation of teamwork, work ethic, and dedication, he discovered that being with the Newmark team more closely aligned with his overall interests and personality and transitioned his career from the finance path.

As a native of the Bay Area, Mr. Jew is eager to apply his understanding of the region and participate in the evolution and expansion of the area. He is extremely excited to start his career at Newmark, where his adaptability and drive will help him meet the needs of clients and the team. Mr. Jew values the importance of building strong relationships with everyone in order to achieve his goals and have a successful, lasting career.
