Matt Hubert

Matt Hubert was named Senior Vice President - Leasing & Development of Becknell Industrial in April 2021. Matt joined the Becknell team in 2014 and is focused on leasing the national portfolio of existing buildings in addition to select speculative projects around the country. Matt also assists in managing tenant relationships as well as handling the day-to-day operations of Becknell assets. A 15-year real estate veteran, Matt has spent time representing the interests of both ownership and investor groups. Prior to joining Becknell, Matt was part of JLL Chicago’s national industrial capital markets team where he was responsible for sourcing and underwriting industrial investments for institutional clients. Prior to his tenure at JLL, Matt was part of the corporate real estate team at R.R. Donnelley & Sons. Matt holds an MBA from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University and bachelor’s degrees in Accountancy and Information Management from Western Illinois University. He is a member of NAIOP- Chicago chapter and the DePaul Real Estate Alumni Alliance. Matt is active in coaching youth sports and President of the Men’s Club at his local parish.
