Matt Baldwin

With over 16 years of commercial real estate experience, Matthew Baldwin, Director, is responsible for nationwide loan origination and is based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Tampa, Florida office. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Baldwin served as associate director at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage where he was responsible for the origination and placement of commercial debt and equity on all types of income-producing properties including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, and self-storage. Previously, Mr. Baldwin served as a senior investment analyst at Northmarq Capital, LLC where he provided financial underwriting, loan sizing, loan request packaging, and due diligence for debt and equity on all property types. Mr. Baldwin began his career at Bank of America Leasing & Capital, LLC as an associate. Mr. Baldwin earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration as well as his Master of Business Administration with a finance concentration from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Beyond the Company, Mr. Baldwin is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Florida.
