Bio
Marty is a managing director in the Chicago office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has 19 years of experience in commercial real estate, including real estate acquisitions, partnership transfers, joint ventures, project management and development joint ventures.
Marty started at HFF in October 2003 and has transacted more than $13.4 billion of multi-housing transactions to date. Before that, he held positions as vice president of the capital transaction group for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, where he was responsible for overseeing all multi-housing transactions in the Midwest region. Prior to this, he was vice president of acquisitions for Kensington Realty Advisors, where he structured and negotiated multi-housing acquisitions in the Midwest on behalf of several of the largest pension funds in the United States.
