Marshall Thompson

With broad experience in both investment sales and capital raising within the commercial real estate space, Marshall Thompson joined the CBRE Net Lease Property Group in February of 2019. He will be working with Jeff Jackson in the Houston office advising developers, REITs, institutions, corporations, private equity firms and high net worth individuals in all aspects of net leased properties. He specializes in dispositions, acquisitions, recapitalizations, portfolio sales, corporate sale-leasebacks and build-to-suit transactions.

Prior to joining CBRE, Marshall gained extensive experience while working as a broker for two years at a national net lease brokerage firm. Before his transition into the brokerage space, Marshall was the Vice President of Sales at Resource Real Estate and an Associate Regional Director at Hines. During his tenure at Hines, he was part of a $2 billion dollar capital raise within the non-traded REIT space where he was awarded Territory of the Year in 2011, 2012 and 2013. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
