Mark Peppercorn

Mark P. Peppercorn is the Senior Vice President of Investments for Simpson Housing. Mark joined Simpson Housing in 2014 and is responsible for all Simpson acquisitions and dispositions activity. In addition, Mark is responsible for Simpson’s joint-venture equity program seeking to participate as an equity partner with developers throughout the country. Mark’s career has included over 150 transactions with a total market cap over $7.5 billion. Prior to joining Simpson, Mark was a former Senior Vice President for Archstone Communities, where he was also responsible for acquisitions and dispositions throughout the nation, but focused mostly in the western U.S. Mark previously held positions as a developer with Glenborough-Pauls, LLC, a securities principal with Security Capital Group, and as a broker with JLL, Eastdil Realty and Transwestern Property Company. Mark received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
