Mark Forlenza

Mark Forlenza serves as Managing Director of Construction and Development for the Belfonti Companies. He is a career professional with over 25 years of experience in the development, construction, and management of residential real estate. Mr. Forlenza was a Principal at Spinnaker Residential and an Officer with AvalonBay Communities, Inc. where he was responsible for the development and construction of rental communities in Connecticut and New York State. Previously, Mr. Forlenza held a number positions at Ginsburg Development, including President, and a variety of construction related functions. In total, Mr. Forlenza has managed the development of over 2.5 billion dollars of residential real estate in over 35 communities.Mr. Forlenza was awarded his Masters in Business Administration and his Masters in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1995 and holds an undergraduate degree in Business from Fordham University. In addition, Mr. Forlenza either serves or has served in leadership positions in a number of civic associations including March of Dimes, Waterbury Social Services, Habitat for Humanity, and local government.
