As a Principal with Avison Young's Capital Markets Team, Marcus focuses exclusively on urban investment services including brokerage, capital markets solutions, asset repositioning and development advisory. He works across all product categories, including land, and often teams with Avison Young product specialists to offer best-in-class service that combines both product expertise and a strong understanding of locational dynamics. From his many years as a real estate principal, he brings a number of strategic alliances focused on investment enhancement to benefit clients, such as environmental experts proven at urban revitalization.

Marcus brings to Avison Young over 25 years of experience in deal making through development, value enhancement and investment sales. He is a recognized and creative investment executive with a transaction volume that has exceeded $500 million. He is a unique broker in that he has been held P&L accountable for the successful development of over 2 million square feet. For much of Marcus' career, he has been immersed in mixed-use and urban assets, primarily in Atlanta, South Florida, Richmond, Washington D.C. and the Triangle and Triad regions of North Carolina.
