Marci Embree

Marci Embree is a Senior Real Estate Manager joining the firm in April

2012.  In this role, Ms. Embree works

closely with one of CBRE’s premier strategic operating partners, KBS Capital

Advisors, in managing their Northern California assets.  Ms. Embree works closely with the public

agencies to facilitate improvements, coordinates with the listing brokerage

team in securing new tenants, establishes strategies and manages the properties

operations and capital improvement budgets. 

Her extensive background in real estate investment underwriting and

“ground-up” development gives Ms. Embree a unique skill set that provides added

value to CBRE’s clients.

 Ms. Embree has over 12 years of

professional real estate experience in equity investments and management of

retail, office and residential properties.  Ms. Embree was previously a Real Estate

Investment Manager at Granite Land Company where she was responsible for

managing the company’s real estate investment portfolio which included retail,

office and residential development and operating properties throughout

California, Washington, Arizona and Texas. 

Responsibilities included the due diligence and underwriting of

development and investment opportunities, securing debt and equity financing,

and working hand-in-hand with the development/sponsor partners to deliver

proforma, or better performance.  She

managed the entitlement process for a myriad of development projects with a

strong emphasis on retail shopping centers and mixed used, master planned communities.  Ms. Embree utilizes her strong background in

developing strategic approaches in real estate value creation and improvement.
