Bio

Marc Spellman is a senior vice president at CBRE's advisory and transaction management group. Mr. Spellman, who began his career in 1988, specializes in the leasing and sales of office buildings, representing both occupiers and owners. Clients have included Kilroy Realty Corp., GE Finance, Voit Cos., Arden Realty and the County of Los Angeles.

 

Mr. Spellman, based at CBRE's Woodland Hills office, has been involved in many complex assignments in the region, including the initial ground up leasing of Lennar Partners' development of LNR Warner Center, encompassing 7 buildings totaling approximately 1.3 million square feet of speculative office development. Other notable transactions and assignments include the disposition of Arden Realty's Calabasas Commerce Center and the leasing of Kilroy Realty Corp.'s 225,000 square-foot Calabasas Park Centre.

 

Mr. Spellman's extensive career has enabled him to experience many different real estate cycles, which provides him with an expert understanding of how to meet and overcome challenges and navigate transactions all the while maximizing the outcome to his clients.

 

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Spellman was one of the founding principals of the Lee & Associates Los Angeles North office.

 

Mr. Spellman graduated from Tarkio College, Tarkio, Missouri in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He was a Scholar Athlete and was selected as a 1st team NAIA Football All American in 1986. Mr. Spellman also owns Spellman Family Vineyards, Bridle Trail Wines, which has an annual production of approximately two tons of Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, which is used for his proprietary blend of Cab In.
