Malek is an investment sales broker with a background in Architecture and Urban Planning. Malek focuses on investment sales in various asset classes throughout Chicago’s core neighborhoods.

Aside from real estate, Malek serves on the board of directors of a number of civic organizations including the Streeterville Neighborhood Organization (SOAR) and the Burnham Council at the Chicago Central Area Committee (CCAC). He is also the author of the Streeterville Neighborhood Plan of 2014 and 2022, and an active participant in different community planning initiatives concerning downtown Chicago including the Chicago Central City Recovery Roadmap, the Chicago Neighborhoods Now initiative and others.

Malek has a Masters’ degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is an American Planning Association- IL Award recipient.
