Bio
Mac Johnson joined Stockbridge in 2014 and serves as Vice President for the firm’s Portfolio Management team and Portfolio Manager for the firm’s open-ended core fund. As Portfolio Manager, Mr. Johnson works with the Senior Portfolio Manager in developing portfolio strategy, conducting market research and providing client service. Mr. Johnson also works with the firm’s capital markets team to monitor debt markets and execute the Fund’s financing strategy, development of new joint venture opportunities and oversight of the Fund’s valuation process. Prior to joining Stockbridge, Mr. Johnson served as an analyst for Black Creek Group, where he held portfolio management responsibilities for a $3 billion industrial fund, as well as a $500 million joint venture portfolio. Mr. Johnson started his real estate career as a Senior Financial Analyst for CoreSite Realty Corp, where he held asset management responsibilities for the firm’s west coast portfolio of data center investments. Mr. Johnson received a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
