Lucas is a Director in the Chicago office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He re-joins JLL as part of the HFF acquisition with extensive experience in commercial real estate. He is primarily focused on arranging asset-level financings across all asset types with an emphasis on commercial properties. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in nearly $5 billion in capital markets transactions. In addition, Lucas is an active member of the Global Capital Team, with a primary focus on the Latin American markets.

Prior to debt and equity placement, he focused on the disposition and recapitalization of CBD office investment properties throughout the Midwest region of the United States. He began his career at a boutique Chicago-based valuation firm, Capright, where he focused on valuation assignments throughout the U.S. and Latin America.

An active member of ULI Chicago's membership committee, Lucas earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and is fluent in English, Italian and Portuguese.
