Louis Kestenbaum is a founding member and the Chairman of Fortis Property Group, LLC, of New York City, a private, diversified, real estate investment, operating, management and development company. Mr. Kestenbaum also is the Founder and Chairman of Fortis Business Holdings, which itself -- or through its subsidiaries in energy, health care real estate, finance and other businesses -- has acquired assets valued in excess of $3 billion during the past 3 decades.Mr. Kestenbaum has a 25-year track record of successfully acquiring, operating/managing, and developing commercial and residential properties throughout the United States, with a focus on New York City. Mr. Kestenbaum has also created, owned and managed successful operating companies in various (other) industries. As Chairman, Mr. Kestenbaum sets the overall strategic direction of the company and makes all investment decisions.Throughout his long career, Mr. Kestenbaum has served in many roles: as a businessman, investor, philanthropist and community-oriented leader. For example, he continues his work as Chairman of the ODA Primary Health Care Network in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY, founded by his father, Rabbi Zvi Kestenbaum.For more than three decades, ODA Primary Health Care Network has operated as a not-for-profit healthcare provider, often serving generations of the same families. Its principal site is located at 14-16 Heyward Street in the heart of South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York.
