Bio
Louis Kruk is portfolio manager of managed accounts for Real Estate Equity Strategies. Lou oversees core and core plus managed account investment strategies and is also actively involved in new business development and the expansion of MetLife Investment Management's (MIM) real estate platform. In his prior role in the MIM real estate capital markets group, Lou was the portfolio manager of a $3 billion structured real estate debt portfolio. Kruk joined MetLife, Inc. in 2002 and focused on MIM's real estate equity portfolio where he was involved in supporting acquisitions, joint venture development, fund management, asset management and portfolio analysis. Before MetLife, Kruk worked in variety of finance and investment positions focusing on credit analysis, private placements, financial reporting and accounting. Kruk holds a Bachelor of Science and MBA in finance from Seton Hall University.
