Lisa Laffer

Lisa Laffer is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Regent. Lisa manages all legal requests and litigation for Regent. She also drafts and negotiates leases, easements, CC&Rs, service contracts, as well as acquisition and loan documents. Lisa also oversees and manages compliance issues, including ensuring Regent’s compliance with regulatory requirements and employees adherence to internal procedures and policies. Prior to joining Regent, Lisa clerked for the Honorable David Alan Ezra, Chief District Judge for the District of Hawaii. She then worked as an attorney specializing in real estate and land use transactions in the Los Angeles offices of Latham & Watkins LLP and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP (where she was named partner). Prior to joining Regent Properties, Lisa worked as the general counsel at Karney Properties, an owner of industrial properties based in Los Angeles. Lisa is a founding board member of the Jewish Center for Justice. Lisa graduated with a BA in History from Yale University and a JD from UCLA School of Law.
