Leslie Duchene

Leslie Duchene is the Chief FHA Underwriter of CBRE HMF, Inc., CBRE's HUD FHA multifamily and healthcare lending platform and is an approved HUD FHA Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) and LEAN Underwriter. Ms. Duchene is responsible for underwriting multifamily apartment and senior housing loan applications and managing the CBRE HMF Underwriting staff. Ms. Duchene has over 18 years of commercial real estate finance and title insurance experience and has closed in excess of $600 million in HUD transactions, including market rate, affordable housing, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), and healthcare.

Prior to joining CBRE in April 2009, Ms. Duchene was the Chief Underwriter for AmeriSphere Mortgage Finance overseeing the company's underwriting and credit risk functions for the FHA division based in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Duchene also helped start the FHA insured division for AmeriSphere in October 2006.

Ms. Duchene was previously a Director and Senior Underwriter for Prudential Huntoon Paige, a division of Prudential Financial and an Underwriter for GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corporation and a Title Underwriter for First American Title Insurance Company, National Accounts.
