aura Khouri is President of WNPM, which currently manages nearly 25,000 apartments located throughout Southern California and Nevada. Ms. Khouri is responsible for the operations of the property management division and provides strategic direction to the company relative to all the multifamily assets in the portfolio.
Ms. Khouri joined WNG in 1985. Prior to assuming the position of President, she held numerous leadership positions within WNG, most recently as the President of the Multifamily Ancillary Group (MAG). Ms. Khouri also held the position of Senior Vice President for WNG, in which she was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, Training and Development, Risk Management, and Investor Relations. Additional positions also held during her 31 year tenure with Western National include Vice President, Human Resources, and Vice President of Operations. Ms. Khouri is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California and Utah, was certified by the HR Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources of which there are only 3,700 such certifications in the state of California, and was previously a licensed Insurance Agent/Broker in six states. Ms. Khouri is a member of the Executive Committee, which governs WNG as well as the WNG Investment Committee.
Ms. Khouri is an active member of the Board of Directors of the California Apartment Association, having served as the President of the Board in 2012 and 2013. She is also an active member of the local division of the California Apartment Association Orange County. Philanthropically, Ms. Khouri served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Prentice School, a non-profit school for dyslexic children from 2010 to 2016, is a member of the Alexis De Tocqueville Society of the United Way of Orange County, serves on the Board of Directors as the Chairman of the Board of Laura's House, a non-profit organization assisting women and children of domestic violence, and served as Board Trustee of Chapman University in Orange, California.
